Angela-Jo Touza-Medina

As Principal and Founder of intellegō Consulting Services, Ángela synthesizes her real-world experience with expertise in organizational culture and communications (including translation and localization), capacity building, change management and growth with her academic background to provide organizations, communities, and individuals the tools and resources they need understand and change their world. Ángela has led and worked on complex quasi-governmental, nonprofit, social service and social impact programs, projects, and organizations in Latin America (Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Brazil), Europe (Spain, France, Germany, and Switzerland), and the United States for over 20 years.

From 2015-2019, Ángela served as Executive Director of the YWCA Greater Austin, a 111-year-old organization dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women. Under her leadership the agency doubled its budget by year-2, increased its fundraising by +150% in 8 months and expanded its service area from 1 to 8 counties. Prior to that, she served as Program Manager at the largest social service agency in Travis County where she has assessed the needs of and ensured the delivery of services to thousands of Central Texas residents.

Ángela also founded and served as Executive Director of ConcienciAcción. This international non-governmental organization provided a volunteer-based Spanish-language platform to promote equity, international human rights and coöperation via web advocacy. Ángela was also co-owner and CEO of Two Sisters, an Austin-based event management firm.

From 2014-2016, Ángela co-hosted and produced Hijas de Eva ATX, a weekly RadioMujer Internacional 95.1 FM feminist radio program dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering Hispanic/Latina women to define themselves to reach their highest human potential.
